Shadows
Exhibition & Live Poetry
Wednesday 5 - Thursday 6 November
10am - 4pm

A collaborative poetry and photography exhibition showcasing the work of amateur photography club, Shutter Squad and local poets. Based on the theme of shadows, poets and photographers have responded to each other’s work to develop a creative community project.
Shutter Squad photography club, lead by photographer Nicola Parry, meet regularly in Hadleigh or on location to develop their creative skills and socialise - all are welcome! Nicola is a published photographer who regularly exhibits her fine art and documentary photography. She is currently working on a series of portraits of local poets for a solo book with Shutter Hub Editions publishing house.
Maddi Crease, lead poet, is a writer and artist living and working in Southend-on-Sea. Maddi frequently reflects on connectedness, as well as themes relating to identity. She is BBC Sounds commissioned, Arts Council England funded and multi-published and exhibited.
